Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) was established on February 16, 1984 under the Order Universiti Utara Malaysia 1984. 30 670. It is located in Sintok, Kedah. It is known as a university of management. UUM was ranked in the range of 591 to 600 in the QS World University Rankings 2020.
