University shields offered to ISESCO Director General and Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Rector

Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Secretary General of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), and Dr Suliman bin Abdallah Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, President of the FUIW General Conference, Chairman of the Executive Council, were offered shields by some universities of the Islamic world, this afternoon, at the close of the Federation’s 7th General Conference, at ISESCO headquarters, in recognition of their dedicated efforts towards developing higher education and supporting university scientific research in the Islamic world.

The shields were offered by the heads of Al-Istiqlal University (State of Palestine); Jerash Private University (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), University of Aden (Republic of Yemen); the Red Sea University, the University of Western Kordofan and El-Zaeim Al Azhari University (Republic of the Sudan); Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (Brunei Darussalam), Bayero University (Federal Republic of Nigeria); and Mohammed V University (Kingdom of Morocco).
