FUIW Prize on the theme: “Scientific Research and Localization of Technology in the Islamic Worlf”

The winners of the FUIW Prize for Academic Research Papers for 2010 on the theme “Scientific research and localization of technology in the Islamic world” were announced at the opening of the 16th session of the FUIW Executive Council which was held at Azad Islamic University – Dubai Branch, United Arab Emirates, on 25-26 May 2011.

The first prize winner was Prof. Dr Abdul-fattah Aly Sayed Ghanima, Professor of History of Science and Technology, Menoufiya University, Arab Republic of Egypt.

The second prize was awarded to Prof. Dr Mohammed Ashfaq, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Faisalabad Agricultural University, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The third prize went to Dr Awatef bint Ahmad Hindi, Associate Professor, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
